| A
Mother Without Child By Robin Wallace - After nine months
of pregnancy, it took only seconds for my world to collapse,
a few seconds for the doctor to say, "I'm sorry. There doesn't
seem to be a heartbeat." A heart wrenching article written
and sent to me by a bereaved mother. |

of recording the memories of a lost child that we treasure.
The articles and resources are shared in hopes that they will

Observations and Memories of Stillbirth (MOMS) study collects
data that will help researchers, medical professionals, and
women better understand all kinds of stillbirths and how to
prevent them. This data also will provide those in the helping
and counseling professions with insights on offering compassionate
support to stillbirth families. Many researchers believe that
most of the four million stillbirths women experience worldwide
every year do not have to happen. Women throughout the world
who have experienced pregnancy and delivered a baby, stillborn
or live, are invited to share their story with the researchers
by clicking on the Questionnaire button on this page and completing
an interactive questionnaire. All the stories will be used to
identify possible risk factors for stillbirth. |

Beautiful personalised keepsake boxes to hold all of your precious memories from the special events in your life. Each box is carefully and lovingly hand crafted, making every single one individual and special.
The inspiration behind Alexandra's Angel Gifts began in memory of our beautiful daughter, Alexandra Grace who was born peacefully sleeping on 22nd September 2006. I have since began creating memorial boxes for other bereaved parents and I have been overwhelmed by the comfort that these unique keepsake boxes have brought to others.

| Light
a Candle for you baby - In many different traditions
lighting candles is a sacred action. It expresses more than
words can express. It has to do with gratefulness. From time
immemorial, people have lit candles in sacred places. Why should
cyberspace not be sacred? You may want to begin or end your
day by the sacred ritual of lighting a candle on this website.
One single guideline is all you need: Slow down and do it with
full attention. From here on, you will be guided step by step.

We hope to reach out to all those affected by
Stillbirth and Neonatal Death by offering a tribute
sung by a young musician who has been closely
affected. By listening to what young people can
achieved in memory of their loss we can hopefully
strive to inspire even more support.
By
looking forward to what medical research has and
can achieve we can bring this time forward with
your kind donations. If you would like to support
SANDS - Stillborn and Neonatal Death Society, you
can by ordering a copy of Clarissa's CD here. |

This
year’s Baby Loss Awareness Week is 9 – 15th
October and once again this is a collaborative venture
involving the main support organisations that help bereaved
parents in the UK.
There are many events planned around the UK and the
week will culminate on the 15th with the ‘Wave
of Light’. We invite everyone to join us
in the global ‘Wave of Light’ by
simply lighting a candle at 7pm in memory of those babies
whose lives shone so brightly and briefly. |

| The
Little Love project provides tiny clothing and memorial quilts
for babies who are miscarried, stillborn or born prematurely
at Pembury and Maidstone Hospitals in Kent. Recently we have
started to fundraise to help refurbish a room for parents who
are suffering a miscarriage on Ruth Ward at Pembury Hospital.
The
project fulfils a need for tiny clothes as the smallest sizes
of commercially available clothes are for babies born over
3lbs. All miscarried babies (born before 24 weeks) and some
stillborn babies (born after 24 weeks) are too small for commercial
clothes so this project’s primary aim is to fulfil the
need for tiny clothing and to hopefully bring a small amount
of dignity and comfort to a heartbreaking situation.

| Have
you ever wanted a completely unique and personal gift? The kind
of photo enhancements I do can provide you with something very
special indeed!
Imagine being able to take a simple photograph,
remove the person from their current setting and place them
in a magical landscape full of fairies and goblins? Giving
a little girl fairy, butterfly or angel wings surrounded by
sparkles? Turning your little boy into a wild west cowboy,
a spaceman or superhero? The possibilities are endless! Do
you know someone who is a Lord of The Rings or Harry Potter
fan? I can turn them into Gandalf, or have them playing a
round of Quidditch!
Not
only do I provide the enhancement service but I can also restore
photographs, remove blemishes or tears and re-colour faded
photographs. |

Christopher's Fund was set up in memory of our son Christopher who sadly died from a brain tumour when he was just four years old. As most families who lose loved ones, we wanted to keep his memory alive and what better way to do it than to raise money to help and support others. So far we have raised over £40,000 to support charities close to our heart. |
