| This
box is something we decided to put together to keep all the
things we hold precious in remembrance of Thomas.
His scans, hand & footprints, hospital tag, poetry, the
words that were read out at his service,
his favourite book and all our memories.
Somewhere we can put our thoughts and special things for him
over the years. |
| |
| We
both felt your energy as you moved and hiccuped within
Mummy's belly. If only you could have felt our love
for you. |
| |
| We
will always love you and remember your love of stories
and cheesecake - if only we had had the chance to hold
you. We loved you a whole lifetime's worth. |
| |
| Your
movements inside Mummy - so energetic and responsive,
making her belly move in bumps and waves, she used to
watch it for hours, intrigued and in awe, wondering
what you looked like - who was there?, whose eyes, mouth,
nose did you have?
You
were particularly active at night when Mummy lay down
in bed. She would pull the covers back and laugh at
the shapes you made in her belly - Daddy used to get
distracted by the TV and he would miss some of your
kicks and bumps and this used to really frustrate Mummy!
You had and have become a part of our family and had
established your own small personality even before you
were born. There was and still is so much love for you
here. There will always be. |
| |
| Mummy
felt you kick when she was in her 16th week of pregnancy
- she bent over and you kicked her in the ribs! What
an overwhelming feeling of excitement and awe when she
felt you move. You once kicked daddy in the head when
he lay it on Mummy's stomach to see if he could hear
your heart beating. |
| |
| There
was a song you seemed to like - funnily enough very
much the same musical taste as your Daddy, we discovered
that when it was played you would shuffle over to the
side of Mummies belly that was nearest to the speaker!
This made us laugh! |
| |
| Mummy
used to have conversations with you on the bus every
morning on the way to work - She would tap her belly
and you would tap and kick back in reply. Whenever she
leant up against the wall at work to check the bowling
lanes you would thump her - you didn't think much of
getting squashed! |
| |
| LIKES
Cheesecake,
'Guess How Much I Love You', Orange Ice-lollies,
Chocolate, 'Indian Flute' |
| |
| DISLIKES
Loud
noises - you would somersault inside me whenever someone
was playing 'Kick & Kick' in 'Powerbowl'.
The Pneumatic drill in the street gave you a real fright. |
